When we worry about everyone else's opinion of our lives but our own, we are in big trouble. Life is not long enough to be lived in the hopes of pursuing the acceptance of others, because not only will we never gain the acceptance of every single person we desire to make proud of us, but we will never really have a good chance of showing the world how great we are, as we truly are, perfectly imperfect.
If you have dedicated your life to please everyone else, it is never too late to make the changes you need to make to try and get fulfillment in life by actually acting as yourself throughout the active day to day activities that you participate in.
Don't worry about what everyone else sees, worry about what God sees, and what you see as you look into the mirror each day. Always be sure that you are looking at yourself.
